A private company with several consumer brands is looking for a consultant UX designer. You will own and develop a shared design system used across three brands.
The role is product-oriented and focused on the system itself: its architecture, components, design tokens and adoption across the organisation. It is not a traditional UX role centred on user research and flow design.
The assignment is in Oslo, hybrid with at least three days a week on-site. Start ASAP, through 2026.
What you'll do
- Own and develop the design system across three brands
- Take responsibility for architecture, the component library and design tokens
- Drive adoption of the design system across the organisation
Ideal fit
- Strong Figma skills, especially components, variants and tokens
- A solid understanding of how design is implemented in code
- Experience building a design system is an advantage
- A background from a consultancy or agency is an advantage
