A technology company in Eastern Norway needs a team of 4-5 consultants for further development of one of its real-time systems. It is a software-intensive system running on Linux. One team member is the team lead.
Together, the team covers four roles. System Engineering, Software Development, Software Test and Software Infrastructure.
The technology is Linux, containers, networking, object-oriented software development, configuration management and information security.
The assignment runs for a minimum of 6 months, with possible extension. The work is mainly carried out at the client's site in Eastern Norway. A high degree of on-site presence is expected during the start-up phase. After the start-up phase, some of the work can be done from other locations.
What the team will do
- Requirements work and architecture
- Operation and setup of Linux-based infrastructure
- Security, configuration management, networking and containers
- Object-oriented software development
- Testing in the office and in the client's test lab
- Technical documentation and other software-related tasks
Requirements
- Team Lead: one team member leads the work
- System Engineering: at least one with solid experience
- Software Development: object-oriented development
- Software Test: testing in the office and in the client's test lab
- Software Infrastructure: Linux, containers, networking, configuration management and information security
- Everyone: at least 2-3 years of relevant experience
- Everyone: must be eligible for NATO Secret security clearance
- Everyone: must be fluent in Norwegian
- Everyone: dual citizenship is not permitted
- Everyone: able to work on-site with the client in Eastern Norway, especially during the start-up phase
